The Friends of St. Joseph Bay Preserves, Inc., is a non-profit Citizen Support Organization established in 2003 to protect and preserve one of the most ecologically significant areas in the Southeastern United States, and to support the St. Joseph Bay State Buffer Preserve and St. Joseph Bay Aquatic Preserve.

St. Joseph Bay State Buffer Preserve Visitor Center & Observation Tower is open to the public weekdays 9AM – 4PM ET and is located  at 3915 State Road 30A, Port St. Joe, Florida 32456. Explore the Preserves:  St Joseph Bay State Buffer Preserve lands provide the opportunity for natural resource-based recreation. Multi-use trails are available for hiking, biking, horseback riding, bird watching, photography and nature study. Access to Deal Tract and a kayak launch may be found on Cape San Blas. Read More
